Iphone 4G Breakout!!

Salah satu kegilaan handphone mobil zaman sekarang, Iphone yang telah mencetuskan fenomena dalam teknologi komunikasi dengan rekabentuk touch screen dan aplikasi yang boleh digunakan seperti melayari sebuah komputer! Lepas keluar je kat pasaran, banyak kompeni² mobile phone lain pun turut sama menyertai persaingan pasaran dengan mengeluarkan telefon bimbit yang mempunyai fungsi² dan reka bentuk seperti Iphone keluaran Apple. Baru saja Iphone 3GS berada di pasaran, dah kedengaran 4G lak! Gila tul. Aku handphone pun pakai Nokia lama jek. Up sikit dari 3310, hahaha. Nak merasa Iphone, kalau duit ada berlebih dan tak tau nak buat apa yang lebih berfaedah, lehla kot aku sambar satu. 3GS 16GB pun lebih kurang 2.4K (tak mampu lagi aku, baik simpan gi umrah ke, haji ke, haha). Like it or not, it seems like the iPhone 4G leak, or rather, mishap for a certain employee in Apple, IS the real deal. According to Gizmodo, the iPhone 4G that was found at a bar has been with them for a week now and they have done some very detailed research. It was found by a customer of the pub. When he was just playing around with the device, hoping to return it to its original owner, he came across a Facebook application and when he opened it, it showed an account of Gray Powell, a Software Engineer that works in Apple. He didn’t think much of it at that time because it was so cleverly camouflaged in an iPhone 3GS casing and obviously because he was tipsy, but he woke up the next day and realized that there was something wrong with the phone. Unfortunately, through MobileMe, the phone’s data have been wiped out so the guy just removed the casing and voila! A shiny (and not so pretty I might add), iPhone 4G.

If you’re still skeptical, here are a few reasons why it’s real. First of all, it has been reported lost by Apple and they want it back. Second of all, the operating system also hints that it is the iPhone 4g because although the phone was wiped clean when the guy who found it was sober enough to play around with it, he remembered it was running on an iPhone OS 4.0 before the OS was announced. The most definite proof was when they opened it up, they found several components that were labeled Apple.

So, what’s new in the iPhone 4G apart from the obvious changes physically? There’s now a front-facing video chat camera, improved back camera (larger lens), camera flash, Micro-SIM (like the iPad), improved display, split volume buttons, secondary mic for noise cancellation and metallic power, mute and volume buttons.

While I feel terribly sorry for the Apple employee who misplaced the phone, I’m kind of glad he lost it, because now there’s a higher chance for Apple to modify the design. Let’s just hope that they maintain the same slim body and cool new features! Are you going to wait for the iPhone 4G now that you’ve gotten a sneak peak of it?
